How does invisalign work?
Invisalign® uses a series of clear plastic aligners to straighten your teeth. These aligners are custom-made for your teeth using 3D computer imaging. They fit comfortably over your teeth but can be easily removed for eating, brushing and flossing. Every two weeks, you’ll change your set of aligners, following a personalised treatment plan. Each set is slightly different and builds on the work of the previous set to gradually move your teeth into the desired position.
What issues can Invisalign treat?
Invisalign is an effective method of treatment and can be used to treat a range of common orthodontic problems such as crowded teeth, spaces between teeth and problems associated with your bite.
What’s more, Invisalign aligners enable us to treat minor problems and achieve straighter teeth for our patients in as little as three months, making the treatment an ideal solution.
Invisalign is also suitable for teens, and due to its virtually invisible material, it’s a popular treatment option. The aligners can be customised to our teen patients’ teeth and jaws to ensure a comfortable fit and that, all-important, beautiful result.
